On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, through its Equality Unit, announces the First Urban Art Competition to raise awareness and sensitisation, both in the university community and in society in general, about this social scourge.

The competition is open to any member of the UPCT university community as well as the other seven polytechnics belonging to the European University of Technology (EUt+).

Those who participate will have to send the design of the urban artwork in PDF format. Whoever wins the competition will create the work on a wall measuring 10 by 3.5 metres located on the Alfonso XIII campus of the UPCT.

The prize will be 200 euros and will include the purchase of all the materials necessary for the creation of the work, as well as transport, accommodation and living expenses in Cartagena in the event that the winner is from an EUt+ university other than the UPCT.

The deadline for submitting entries for this competition will be open until 31 December 2022 at 23:45 hours.
