4th World Congress on Biomimetics, Artificial Muscles and Nano-Bio

There is a pleasure to me to whish all of you a good holiday announcing the publication of those papers, from the IV World Congress on Biomimetics, Artificial Muscles and Nano-Bio 2007, that have been selected by the editor of Bioinspiration & Biomimetics http://www.iop.org/EJ/toc/1748-3190/3/3.
All the other sent papers will appear in short time at the Journal of Physics: Conference Series
Proceedings
The proceedings of 4th World Congress on Biomimetics, Artificial Muscles and Nano-Bio will be co-published between two journals, both published by IOP Publishing.
Original papers from invited lecturers, oral communications and posters will be published in Bioinspiration & Biomimetics (BB) (a very new journal that is currently publishing only 4 issues a year, fitting the aims of the Congress) and the open-access conference journal Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS). Authors are invited to send their papers, following the instructions for authors (see below), to the organizing committee before the beginning of the meeting. An issue of Bioinspiration & Biomimetics will be devoted to the publication of 12 selected (by the Conference Committee) papers that will be submitted to the usual refereeing procedure. The remaining papers and all those manuscripts arriving after the beginning of the meeting will be peer reviewed by the organising committee and submitted to JPCS. All papers published in JPCS are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download.
Preparing your paper
BB and JPCS have different publication processes and workflows so ALL authors are kindly asked to use the JPCS Microsoft Word template to prepare their paper. This template will produce files that are suitable for submission to each journal and so will enable rapid production and publication of the proceedings. Failure to use the JPCS template could cause a delay in publication, so your cooperation is very much appreciated.
