On February 13th 2012 GEM opened its new facilities in the Center for Development and Technological Innovation (CEDIT) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, located in the Fuente Álamo's Technological Park. These facilities consist of a laboratory for measurement, computation and electromagnetic design, and an area for industrial oven prototypes in microwave and radio-frequency technologies.
