MASTER IN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

OBJECTIVES

The Master in "Information and Communication Technology" has as its main objectives:
  • To provide a global vision of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and an advanced qualification in research techniques.
  • To provide knowledge and skills to produce research results with a great innovative potential at an international level.
  • To qualify the student for the carrying out of a doctoral thesis in the bosom of research groups of recognised national and international prestige.

MASTER STRUCTURE

This master allows the admission to a PhD program and the subsequent development of a PhD thesis.
Students who are not graduated in a related domain are required to enrol some subjects in the first levelling and guidance module (up to 60 ECTS credits) depending on their previous knowledge. Such subjects are about fundamentals on techniques, technologies and systems associated with ITC.
